Beginner Crochet: Granny Squares Series - Class 2

Part 2 is where the magic happens! Participants will turn a completed granny square into an envelope-style pouch, finished with a button closure and an optional border.

Participants must bring a granny square made at home. We recommend a square with 6–10 rounds total, as the number of rounds determines the size of the pouch:

- 6+ rounds will create a small pouch for items like AirPods or keys
- Around 10 rounds will create a pouch large enough to hold a standard-size book

Important: For this class, participants must bring their own supplies (hook, yarn, and needle). Supplies may be those received in Part 1 or brought from home, but they should match the granny square being used in class.

This class builds on techniques learned in Class 1 and is suitable for beginners who are just starting off, or for those wanting to turn their granny squares into a functional project.

Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults do not need to purchase the class, unless they are also participating.
