Wild Heart - 2026 Pillow Series

Kick off the 2026 Pillow Series with a project that’s full of charm, color, and skill-building, just in time for Valentine's Day! In this class, you’ll create a quilted pillow featuring a striking pieced heart framed by flying geese and half-square triangle units. We’ll walk through every step together, from organizing your fabrics, to piecing the heart block with accuracy and assembling the surrounding patchwork for a beautifully balanced design.

You’ll learn techniques for achieving sharp points, consistent seams, and smooth joins as we construct the block. Then we’ll explore simple quilting options to add texture and stability before turning your finished panel into a fully completed pillow cover with an envelope back. You’ll leave class with a professional-looking pillow ready to display!

This class is perfect for confident beginners looking to expand their piecing skills or seasoned quilters who enjoy a fun, satisfying project. By the end of the session, you’ll have not only a gorgeous quilted pillow, but also the foundational techniques that will carry through the rest of the 2026 pillow series.

All materials for the class (including the machine!) will be provided. Just bring yourself! If you would like to bring in your own machine, please feel free to do so.
