Holiday Fabric Trees
Get into the festive spirit by stitching your own charming holiday fabric tree, perfect for decorating, gifting, or adding a cozy handmade touch to any space! In this hands-on class, you’ll learn step-by-step how to create these adorable 3-D trees from start to finish.

We’ll begin by choosing festive seasonal fabrics and preparing the tree panels, then move into sewing techniques that build skill and confidence. You’ll practice stitching smooth small curves for the tree shapes, learn tips for turning narrow tubes without stretching or twisting the fabric (for the bow on top), and use leftover batting scraps to stuff your trees so they hold their shape beautifully. To finish, you’ll use a neat ladder stitch to hand-sew the final opening closed for a polished, nearly invisible seam.

Add jingle bells to the trees for a fun finish! (not included in the class)

Whether you’re newer to sewing or looking for a fun holiday project, you’ll walk away with a delightful stuffed tree and a set of techniques you can use again and again. Come join us for a creative, cheerful class that’s as fun as it is festive!



All materials for the class (including the machine!) will be provided. Just bring yourself! If you would like to bring in your own machine, please feel free to do so. A handy student handout will also be provided for you to take home that will cover what was addressed in the class.
