Quilt Finishing Class
Ready to turn your quilt top into a finished masterpiece? This optional follow-up class focuses on all the steps that bring your quilt together beautifully! You’ll learn several basting methods, including glue basting, pin basting, and basting stitches, so your layers stay smooth and secure. Then we’ll dive into creating and attaching quilt binding, both by machine and by hand, for a polished edge you’ll be proud of. It’s a relaxed, confidence-building class that helps you complete your first quilt from start to finish, no loose threads left behind!
Bring your project from the Beginner Quilting Series, or a project of your own, to the class. If you would like to bring in your own machine, please feel free to do so. A handy student handout will also be provided for you to take home that will cover what was addressed in the class.
Notes:
- Basic sewing experience with machine required.
- Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
